As a designer/seamstress for more then 30 years now, I have created, designed, and sewn many items, but my love for scarves grew into a real passion. I discovered that wearing a scarf not only adds dimension to what you are wearing, but it actually redefines and compliments your wardrobe!
What inspired you to design NO-FUSS® SCARVES?
This is a questioned I am asked quite often. My answer is simple “we needed a change”. The traditional square and long scarves have been around for as long as we can remember. Women hardly wear them anymore, and the teens don’t wear them at all. I asked myself, why is that? It was obvious, with today’s clothing styles, wearing a scarf is outdated, and anyway what can you really do with a square scarf, or a long one for that matter?
I decided in the line of scarves, it was time for a change. We needed something new and exciting, with endless versatility, simple and easy to wear, and would appeal to the teens and young women, as well as the older mature women. Also, it had to be a design that would forever compliment the changing fashion trends. I am proud to say, I was granted a patent for each design.
I feel a sense of accomplishment not only when I wear one of my scarves and receive so many compliments, but when women of all ages express their excitement over them, telling me how much they love them. Now the only question I get more of is, “what am I going to do with all my old square scarves?” I haven’t found an answer for that one yet.

My husband and partner Moses, and I work together in marketing and promoting our new "NO-FUSS® SCARF designs. Yes I designed them, but I couldn't have done it without his encouragement and support. He is actually the backbone to our success! What does MOJO2 stand for? After 40 plus years of marriage, raising four children, and gaining four grandchildren, now there is just the 2 of us, Moses and Joyce, thus.."MOJO2" and no, we don't have the empty nest syndrome. |

Let me start by saying I love encouraging and motivating other women to look and feel good. I realized I couldn't do that if my scarves just hung on racks in boutiques or department stores. Also because my scarves demonstrate so well, hanging them on a rack in stores minimizes the value of the design, because they are so multi-functional.
After demonstrating my first scarf design in front of women that were not my family or friends, and experiencing their response, I knew what I had to do, but it would take awhile to get going, meanwhile I designed my second scarf, and it too was a hit with women both young and older! My 21-year-old Granddaughter can’t stay out of them…and that’s a good sign!
I absolutely love the excitement that my scarves cause when demonstrated. Women are just amazed at what one NO-FUSS SCARF can accomplish! I hear them say, over and over “it is ingenious”!
So, yes when I do scarf parties, my scarves sell very well, even in these economically stressed times! Why? Because I have designed scarves that are beautiful, different, resourceful and multi-functional, making the consumer feel their money is well spent!
I am inspired when women tell me how many compliments they get when they wear one of my scarves, and how good it makes them feel, and how many different ways they have worn it. Some of them have even called me and said, “I have come up with a new way to wear my scarf”.
I would never have met so many wonderful people, or have these experiences if my scarves were just hanging on racks in department stores. I love meeting, and encouraging other women to look and feel good.
