The Fan tying Instructions Back     Tie a loose knot on one side of your scarf as close to the end as you can get.  On the opposite side, starting from the bottom of your scarf, at the corner, begin pleating upward as far as you can go, holding your pleats together, pull them upward through your loose knot, tighten the knot, and spread out the pleats to your desire.
